Freemasonry is a VERY divisive subject. Our entire aim as we discuss this, and other WEIRDNESS that is in our world, is to do so with an open mind. Here we want to discuss the Ancient Society known as Freemasons, and how it has a history that spans THOUSANDS of years into the time of the Ancient Pharaohs in Egypt.
Note that this theory pre-dates the common accepted origins of Freemasonry, that it began during the construction of King Soloman's Temple, by THREE THOUSAND YEARS.
We have a lot to go over, so let’s dive right in!
The Wikipedia Definition of Freemasonry and its history leave a lot to be desired. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freemasonry
Freemasonry orMasonry consists offraternal organisations that trace their origins to the local guilds ofstonemasons that, from the end of the 14th century, regulated the qualifications of stonemasons and their interaction with authorities and clients. Freemasonry has been the subject of numerousconspiracy theories throughout the years. Modern Freemasonry broadly consists of two main recognition groups:
The basic, local organisational unit of Freemasonry is theLodge. These private Lodges are usually supervised at the regional level (usually coterminous with either a state, province, or national border) by aGrand Lodge or Grand Orient. There is no international, worldwide Grand Lodge that supervises all of Freemasonry; each Grand Lodge is independent, and they do not necessarily recognise each other as being legitimate.
You will note right away the atypical Wikipedia sneering, it is almost ‘Tourist’ in tonality and does a big disservice the description and historical context. So lets dig deeper:
Freemasonry evolved from the guilds of stonemasons and cathedral builders of the Middle Ages. With the decline of cathedral building, some lodges of operative (working) masons began to accept honorary members to bolster their declining membership. From a few of these lodges developed modern symbolic or speculative Freemasonry, which, particularly in the 17th and 18th centuries, adopted the rites and trappings of ancient religious orders and of chivalric brotherhoods. In 1717 the first Grand Lodge, an association of lodges, was founded in England.
Hmm that doesn’t go back far enough does it? Are you starting to notice a trend amongst the main stream sources?
https://www.freemason.com/ takes you to Ohio. More specifically, the GRAND LODGE OF OHIO.
Freemasonry is the leading fraternal organization in the world. Its origins are lost in the unrecorded history of medieval times, but it formally organized in London, England, in 1717. Current worldwide membership totals over 3 million members, 1.1 million of whom are in North America. With 70,000 Masons and 450 local Lodges, Ohio has one of the largest Masonic memberships of any state in the country.
Again, you will notice that all ‘OFFICIAL’ accounts of Freemasonry its origin and history are recent and stemming from the 1700’s. But, with a little bit of digging, you can see it goes way beyond that.
The Hiramic legend of Freemasonry only goes back to the Temple of Solomon - the First Temple, which is written about (quite extensively) in the Bible. The temple was built over the course of 20 years in the 10th century BC - sometime in the mid 900s BC.
The last noted Egyptian pyramid builder was Pepy II, who built the last pyramid during his reign, which was from 2278 through 2184 B.C.
In other words, the last great pyramid was built 1200 years before King Solomon’s Temple was built. Freemasonry as an operative guild system that included Master Masons who could travel freely between nations were just getting organized during the time of King Solomon.
The BEST Sources we have found come from the Middle East. Harun Yahya is a prominent Turkish intellectual. He states:
How can there be a relationship between the esoteric philosophy of the priests of Ancient Egypt and present-day Freemasons? Ancient Egypt, a classic example in the Qur’an of a godless political system, disappeared thousands of years ago. Can it have any influence today?
we should look more closely at the role of the priests. The priests of Ancient Egypt were a class referred to in the Qur’an as magicians. They represented the cult which supported the regime. It was believed that they had special powers and possessed secret knowledge. By this authority they influenced the Egyptian people, and ensured their position within the administration of the pharaohs. This class, known from Egyptian records as the “Priests of Amon,” focused their attention on practicing magic and administering their pagan cult; in addition, they also studied various sciences such as astronomy, mathematics and geometry.
This class of priests was a closed order possessed (so they thought) of a special knowledge. Such orders are commonly known as esoteric organizations. In a magazine called Mason Dergisi (Masonic Journal), a publication distributed among Turkish Masons, the roots of Freemasonry are stated as going back to this kind of esoteric order, and special mention is made of the Ancient Egyptian priests:
As thought develops in human beings, science advances and as science advances, the number of secrets increases within the lore of an esoteric system. In this development, thisesoteric enterprise, which began first in the East, in China and Tibet, and then spread to India, Mesopotamia and Egypt, formed the basis of a priestly knowledge thathad been practiced for thousands of years and formed the basis of the power of the priests in Egypt.

So YES, FreeMasonry goes back into the time of Pharaohs, the guild was involved in ancient building from the dawn of man, it has (Freemasonry) existed in MANY FORMS evolving over time from its Magical Egyptian Roots into what we now know today.
